This coffee is another top pick from Ethiopia's Yirgacheffe region, which is one of our favorites that consistently produces stellar coffee. These beans are Ethiopian Heirloom, which really means that they're various cultivars of the native coffee plants that have been growing here for decades. More time to develop flavors and unique characteristics means that coffees from Yirgacheffe has a distinctive taste that we love. This particular lot produces a mix of really strong fruit flavors. Sharp and acidic notes of lemon and lime are tempered by the sticky-sweet taste of passionfruit.
