Francisco Alvarado is yet another amazing coffee producer from a cooperative located in the municipality of Masaguara in Intibuca. The cooperative is a place where coffee producers can share ideas, best practices, and provide support to each other in pursuit of improving the quality of their coffee. Francisco has owned his farm for 13 years and is constantly making improvements when planting, processing and drying his coffee. He even enlists the help of his wife and two children to help with producing the farm’s amazing coffee.

We are tasting a coffee loaded with ripe and juicy stone fruit, light floral notes, and a touch of apple-like acidity. This cup is smooth, sweet, juicy with a distinctive syrupy finish. We can’t wait to share this one with the club–yum!

Yummy!

This is delicious full stop. Smooth, sweet, and juicy are good descriptors! The first few days I didn't get much apple, just a little bit in the acidity like the notes suggest, but now the apple is really coming through nicely on the nose, which rounds it out beautifully. The stone fruit is strong, but oddly, I don't get it much on the nose until the coffee is in my mouth - I can still tell it's the smell, but for whatever reason it's much more present for me at that point. I love that stone fruit aroma/sensation and it really sings here with the apple. Very pleasant, enjoyable cup!

Smooth and full-bodied

This is delicious! It's smooth and well-balanced, but not boring.

Balanced; Not for me.

Very juicy when dialed in, but the acidity isn't quite what I like. There's a lot of body but neither chocolate nor fruit notes dominate. I want more of the florals but they're playing minor parts.

Interesting

Very juicy , and the acidity that shines through really reminds you of eating an apple. I’ve been using an aero press , I add sugar and oat/ or half n half This made a very unique iced coffee.
