Cocoa, Fruit Punch, Smooth

Crop Year: 2017
Origin: Narino, Colombia
Producers: Nancy Munoz
Altitude: 1900m
This exquisite caturra coffee was grown on the La Falda farm in Colombia's famous Narino region. Coffee has been cultivated in Narino for decades, and many of the local farmers have spent that time focusing on specialty lots instead of large-scale commodity coffee production. While other areas in South America are starting to experiment with different premium varietals and production methods, Narino has a well-established reputation for high-quality beans and exciting flavors. This particular lot exhibits some dazzling characteristics that don't normally go together. There's a heavy cocoa note that provides most of the flavor, but there's also a distinctly sweet, almost tart note of fruit punch that lends this coffee some complexity. Even with these contrasting flavors, the body remains smooth and weighty, making this a satisfying coffee that will jumpstart your day. We can't get enough of it, and we're really excited to see what you all think!

Great coffee
It really does taste exactly like rich cocoa with a slight sweet after note. Really smooth and drinkable.
