Here at the Moustache Coffee Club we take finding excellent coffee very seriously, and that includes decaf. We believe that just because you're looking for a decaffeinated option doesn't mean you should have to compromise on taste, which is why we're so excited about this excellent lot from Guatemala! These beans were grown in Huehuetenango by Ana Maria Ortega on the coffee farm where she grew up. Finca Los Angeles has been in her family since 1950 and with a lifetime of experience in the coffee space, Ana Maria is producing some truly exceptional coffees there now!

The Swiss Water process allows beans to retain the nuances of their flavor while removing caffeine, which we're thankful for since the flavors in a cup of Los Angeles Decaf are so strong. A rich chocolate note provides the baseline for the taste of this coffee, which is accentuated by a sweet, juicy cherry note. On top of those heavier flavors, a bright waft of sage lends this brew a refreshing aftertaste. We were really impressed with how this coffee tastes, and we couldn't be happier to share another decaffeinated option with the club. If you're as surprised as we were that decaf can taste this good, leave us a note on the website or shoot us an email. We'd love to hear from you!

Finally, good decaf

I’m the only decaf drinker in my office, it’s nice to finally get some coffee that tastes like it was roasted with the same care and attention as regular.

Good for a cup of Joe without the caffeine

We drink mostly espressos and cappuccinos so I prefer the Tolima Hermosas. But this is a very nice, rich flavorful decaf that's good for a black or ice coffee.

Delicious

Sweet but bright. Nice tangy acidity at the end.
