One of the best things about coffee is how it can bring people together, in more ways than one. In the wake of the Rwandan civil war, the Maraba Abahuzamugambi co-operative was created to provide economic stability and revitalize Rwanda's southern province by growing commercial-grade coffee. Expanding from 300 members to well over 1000, Maraba also made the jump from commercial-grade coffee to specialty coffee around 2001, and it's been full steam ahead ever since. With multiple cupping labs and an intense process for maintaining quality, these beans from Maraba are top notch. Hand-picked, floated twice to separate out impurities, pulped, washed, and air-dried: it all adds up to exquisite flavors. These bourbon beans produce some rich fruity flavors, with a citrus kick on the back end that's sure to have you coming back for another cup.

It was just ok
It was a good blend, but for my personal taste, i found the apricot and prune to be a bit "fruit/rich" intense for my taste.

Very Bright
There wasn't too much variety of flavors in this blend. I found that it had almost a sour taste, I would have liked more of a balance to contrast with the floral flavors, but still a very good coffee blend.

This is great!
I thought that there would be more of a grapefruit taste but there isn't (which is wonderful). Love this coffee. Not to light which is another great thing.
