Imagine rows of coffee plants tucked into small plots of land below a towering mountain, and you'd be thinking of the origin of this tasty coffee! Grown by smallholders at the foot of Mount Kenya, these SL28 and SL34 beans are brought together at the Mukure Coffee Factory outside of the village of Mukure, where they're fully washed and processed, and let out to patio dry for 21 days. The resulting taste is captivating. These beans exude a strong grape note and juciness that make the cup enjoyable to sip on, while a bit of apple tartness and cocoa sweetness add some complexity and spice to the full-bodied character of this brew. This is a great Kenyan coffee, and we hope you love it as much as we do!

Rich, smooth

This has a well developed taste, and I definitely get the green apple. Not bitter at all - perfectly roasted.

Africa!

Nice to get a slightly brighter option. Been struggling with all of the subtle rich options lately.

Sweet and fruity

Lovely flavor, full body, not too sweet, and nice fruity notes.

Pleasant and fairly juicy

Not the most nuanced coffee when made with a Chemex, but it's fruity and juicy start to finish, which makes it a great springtime coffee in my book.
