The town of Bedessa is situated in Hambela Wamena, a well-known part of Guji for all you coffee nerds out there. I met the producer Asnake Kasa on a my last trip to Ethiopia and he was an excellent host making me feel super welcome on the trip. This farm is a new venture for him and I'm beyond excited that we are roasting his coffee. He is laser focused on quality and he's hit a home run here. I like me an Ethiopian natural but there is just something about a clean washed Ethiopian coffee that is very close to my heart.

This coffee is extremely delicious, we are getting cherries and passion fruit with delicate florals and black tea on the finish.

Good but Mild

This coffee was little mild. I tried origami, and V60 and took several tries to get a decent flavor. It is sweet but too flat for my taste. In espresso was to flat even for cortado.
