Alianza Nariño — Colombia, Buesaco

This organic lot comes from the Alianza Cafe cooperative, a group founded in 2017 that has grown to over 1,000 smallholder members farming the volcanic slopes of Buesaco in Nariño. Seven volcanoes have spent centuries layering this land with nutrient-rich soil — the kind of terroir that makes Nariño one of Colombia's most exciting coffee regions.

Grown between 1,700 and 1,900 meters and processed washed with a 14-16 hour fermentation before sun-drying on patios, the cup is clean and expressive. Expect roasted marshmallow sweetness alongside orange peel brightness and a grounding note of chocolate.

We've loved exploring Colombia's range through coffees like our San Carlos and La Esmeralda, and this Alianza lot fits right into that tradition — cooperative-grown, organically certified, and full of character.

A warm, approachable coffee that rewards you from the first sip to the last drop.
