Description:

Black Condor – La Roma, Tolima

This washed Caturra & Castillo from the Black Condor Project brings a warm, comforting cup with just enough spark to keep things interesting. Grown between 1,650–1,950m in Planadas, it’s a community-driven coffee that showcases both place and people.

In the cup, expect a smooth, inviting profile of almond, caramel, panela sweetness, and gentle red-fruit brightness. It’s the kind of everyday drinker that still manages to surprise—clean, balanced, and quietly charming.

The Black Condor Project itself is a story of resilience: a collaboration between Forest Coffee and local producer Emmanuel, created to support farmers in Gaitania affected by past conflict. Their careful washed process—24 hours with mucilage, followed by slow patio drying and stabilization—keeps the profile consistent, sweet, and steady.

A comforting, community-rooted coffee with classic Colombian character and a touch of red-fruit lift—simple, honest, and delicious.
