About This Coffee
Variety: Caturra, Colombia
Processing: Washed
Crop Year: 2016
Origin: Guatica, Colombia
Producer: Guatica Small-holders
Altitude: 1500-1900m
This coffee comes from the municipality of Guatica in the Risaralda department of Colombia. Farmers from five villages in the municipality have come together to form a coffee association called "La Cristalina," named after the crystal-clear waterfall in the municipality. Together, they share techniques and resources, continually improving their farms and production practices. This washed coffee is crisp and refreshing, reminiscent of its namesake. Strong mint and lemongrass notes make a flavor that's mellow and sippable, before a smooth fruity sweetness comes in to finish out the cup. A coffee this smooth and consistent is a nice change of pace from the often bold and bright flavors you find in premium coffee, and we're excited for you to try it!

Chemex: Black Coffee
Great brew but I'm still looking for a lighter and fuller body.

Sweet flavor
I really like the sweetness of this blend. I normally prefer a smoother, bolder roast - but loved the complexity of this brew and could definitely taste the mint and lemongrass.

Delicious
This has really hit the spot. Makes a great iced coffee as well. You can really taste all the flavors they mention in this.
