This vibrant top lot from Nyeri, Kenya offers a stunning example of the region’s dynamic flavor profile. Grown by smallholder farmers at 1,700 meters and processed at the Mihuti Factory — part of the long-standing Rugi Farmer Cooperative — this washed coffee delivers juicy, complex acidity and a refined sweetness. Expect layers of tart tamarind and kumquat, balanced by crisp Fuji apple and a hint of baked strawberry. Carefully fermented overnight and dried on raised beds, it’s a clean, fruit-forward cup that showcases the best of Kenyan terroir.

One of the best combinations of flavor
This has been one of the best so far for espresso, the flavors are not to fruit forward. Well balanced but also palatable flavor that separates at times.

This was great!
I brewed using a clever dripper and this was an amazing cup of coffee with doing any dialing in. Very fruity and sweet with nice texture.

Surprisingly good
I enjoy Kenyas. But this one was a pleasant surprise. Definitely getting the juiciness of apple, but leaning a bit more red apple for me. Subtly tart. Really nice.
